On March 22, we announced two new products that set the new standards for efficiency and design simplicity in power supplies up to 250 W:
HiperLCS-2 is an off-line LLC Switcher IC chipset. It achieves 98% efficiency and 40% component-count reduction in LLC resonant power converters up to 250 W. The chipset eliminates the need for bulky heatsinks or unreliable optocouplers. It consist of:
- HiperLCS2-HB, a half-bridge power device with integrated 600 V FREDFETs, and
- HiperLCS2-SR, a safety isolation device with synchronous rectification and FluxLink feedback

- DER-672 – 220 W LLC Power Supply for TV and Monitors using HiperLCS-2 and HiperPFS-5
HiperPFS-5 is an advanced power factor correction (PFC) controller IC with integrated 750 V PowiGaN switches, optimized for high power factor and efficiency across the load range. It can be easily paired with PI's switcher ICs, specifically,
- For LLC topology up to 240 W, pair PFS517xF with the HiperLCS-2 chipset
- For Flyback topology up to 110 W, pair PFS527xF (self-biased)
with the InnoSwitch4-CZ switcher IC
