風力發電

Wind Icon在許多國家,風力發電系統已經成為能源發電基礎建設當中的中堅力量。根據應用項目採用的實際轉換器拓撲架構,這些風力發電系統包含了以下一種或多種子系統:

  • 機側轉換器
  • 網側轉換器
  • 直流母線
  • 制動斬波器
  • 撬棒

下圖顯示最常見的兩種風力發電簡化拓撲架構:直接驅動(DD)型風力發電系統(圖1);和帶雙饋型感應發電機(DFIG)的風力發電系統(圖2)。

除了直流母線和撬棒以外,需要精選的功率半導體就是IGBT,它需要一個可靠的閘極驅動器來確保至少15年的設備壽命週期間無故障運作。否則,斷電會導致高昂的成本,不僅損耗能源,還會產生維修成本(特別在較偏遠地區)。Power Integrations設計出高度可靠的隨插即用驅動器,樹立風力發電系統中的行業標準,例如2SP03202SP0325

通常,在變速風力發電系統(如圖所示的DD和DFIG系統)中,需要採用變槳控制來調節葉片,以適應實際的系統和風力條件。這些變槳共治變換器也使用包括'Power Integrations推出的2SC0108T IGBT驅動器在內的產品驅動IGBT。
