DER-507 and triac triggering

Hi,
I'm using DER-507 design to power an MCU (ATtiny 402), and I'm using this MCU to trigger a logic level triac (BTA137 600E).
When I set the MCU's pin connected to the gate in HIGH state the triac go into conduction state, but when I set it on LOW state the triac go into a "semi conduction state". I also tried to connect the gate directly on power supply VSS but the result didn't change.
What I'm doing wrong ?
