One of the teams that passed scrutineering on the first try was aCentauri Solar Racing, whose Silvretta solar race car incorporates a DC-DC converter featuring PowiGaN-based InnoSwitch3-AQ switcher IC, provided by Power Integrations. It achieves 95% efficiency across both light and full loads with a broad output range of 5 to 60 W.
