3 phase designe problem

hi . iwant to desingn a 3phase and 2phase smps . 2 phase is for some times that one phase is not pressent . but i didnt see any document about it . and pi expert dose not support it . i need help .

Hi

 

Indeed PIExpert does not support 3 phase designs. You can use the Stack-FET topology to do your design though.

You can design the transformer with PIXLS. You will get some warning regarding peak VDS that you can ignore. Be sure that your output diodes are correctly rated, and ask your transformer manufacture for creepage and clearance under your operating conditions. Because of the higher operating voltage you will probably have to use a bigger transformer in order to comply with safety distances...

 

From the IC point of view you should not have any trouble.
