270W LLC using PLC810PG

Posted by: JerryBaker on

I have the LLC RD189 which is very simular to what we need. Do you provide the spread sheet transformer design for LLC as shown in RD189? I would like a transformer design for 2 isolated 13.60vdc at 10A continious. I would also like a bias winding to simplfy Vcc, or other good idea for starting and runing the PLC810PG. No 5v standby power is required in our design.
Thank you.

The spreadsheet values are in the report:

HiperPLC is included in the PIXLS software which is part of the PI Expert Suite:

For 13.6V / 10A you could probably use ETD39 core.

Is that 10A for each of the 2 outputs? If so you will probably need ETD44.

To provide Vcc, use our LNK302 if you need remote on/off, with zener and BJT for regulation.

If you don't need remote on/off, use LNK623.
The lowest cost parts will be in the SO-8 package.
