The moment is here. Bridgestone World Solar Challenge starts in Darwin and Mr. Green's Blog is at the starting line to witness the beginning of aCentauri Solar Racing's 3,000 km journey down to Adelaide.

The team's Silvretta solar race car incorporates a DC-DC converter featuring PowiGaN-based InnoSwitch3-AQ switcher IC, provided by Power Integrations. It achieves 95% efficiency across both light and full loads with a broad output range of 5 to 60 W.
