ECCN Webinar - TinySwitch-5 Improves Standby Efficiency

2025 August 28, 14:00 - 15:00 (Asia/Shanghai)
Optimizing standby power consumption and improving standby efficiency
More and more electrical devices have standby functions to improve the user experience. The EU ErP energy-saving directive requires that the input power of a device must be less than 300mW while providing various functions in standby mode. These standby functions include powering the display and providing wireless connection.
This seminar will discuss how to optimize the no-load/standby power consumption of flyback power supplies. In this seminar, we will describe factors affecting the standby power consumption and how to optimize performance. We will then show how the PI™ TinySwitch™-5 product family delivers more than 200mW output while meeting the 300mW input limit.
