TOP414

Posted by: antonio.giaretta on
I used to use TOP414 to design power supply with input from 20V up to 80V. Should I continue using this part number or should I replaced it for another? DPA don't look to work in this range, do it? Thanks, Antonio

It depends on what application you have... The bottomline is that the DPASwitch has a breakdown voltage of 220V. So long as you stay below this you should be ok. So you can use DPA for that input range also; especially with Flyback topology and a low VOR it should be no problem.

TOP41x family is a current product so if it works for you feel free to continue to use it.

Cheers
