transformer heating problem with tny268, 12v/1.25Amp design

Dear Sir,
I am using tny268 for my 12v/1.25Amp design, but i am facing transformer heating problem with load 500ma only. Here i am attaching transformer specification and schematic.
I am using this design from last 3 year. Now i want to place in small plastic enclosure s o that i want to target this heating problem.
