Design Example Unboxing - RDK-953Q - 100 W Automotive Power Supply Using 900 V PowiGaN-based InnoSwitch3-AQ
RDR-953Q describes a 100 W power supply for 400 V BEV automotive applications. It eliminates the need for a traditional 12 V lead-acid battery with an ultra-compact DC-DC converter. The design uses a 900 V PowiGaN-based InnoSwitch3-AQ flyback switcher IC and features reinforced 500 V isolation that is IEC-60664-1 and IEC-60664-4 compliant. It allows full load operation from 150 V DC to 500 V DC input with a 13.5 V, 7.35 A output.
