This overview introduces the Core / Enclosure Properties window in PI Expert’s Magnetics Designer tab. The window displays information about the selected core, including its part number and material, which are defined in the PIXLS Designer Sheet. It also allows users to specify the core reference connection and view or modify PCB dimension parameters associated with the selected enclosure.

The window also provides controls for pin properties and PCB construction settings, such as layer count, margins, and isolation thicknesses. Some parameters are automatically calculated by the design engine and marked with a calculator icon, but users can override and lock these values when needed. Together, these settings help configure the physical layout and construction of planar transformer designs.
