TOP258 IC w/ strange pin layout?
Hey!
I bought a small number of TOP258PN ICs for a prototype for a project. Strangely, these ICs have a pinout different from what is described in the data sheet (find pictures attached). Can anyone explain why the layout does not match? What am I missing?
writing on IC:
row1: "1822"
row2: "TOP258PN"
row3: "5A376A"
Thanks in advance and kind regards.
Chris

I strongly suspect a badly executed fake. Did you buy these from one of our distributors, or an online seller?
Thanks, that's what i suspected. Since i only needed a few pieces for a private project, I bought them from an ebay seller... so yeah, not a big surprise
Thanks for your opinion!
Unfortunately, fakes abound, and most everything can be faked if some profit is perceived... Digi-key has your part.
