LinkSwitch_TN Low-Side Buck-Boost – Optocoupler Feedback

Posted by: gyh on

I would like to know if anyone has successfully implemented a low-side Buck-Boost
Optocoupler Feedback design based on the LNK306. If so, can you share your schematics

You may check design idea 171, design idea 42 and AN 37 in the design support section of this webpage. Also PI exper software may help you with your low side buck-boost design.

I have implemented the circuit as shown in the attachment.
I am using the LNK306 device.
I cannot get any output and also C1 is blowing once we turn the power off.

Is the LNK306 the correct part for this design?
Is there some mis-wiring?

GYH

Change the value of C4 to 0.1 uF

The actual capacitor on the board is 0.1uF
