PI Expert 9.1 custom component lib/set issue

Thank you for continuing to use our tool and flagging your concern.  Here are our comments:

1. EFD15/20/30 is not hidden. If you create DPASwitch design it is available there (as ‘High Frequency’ core).
2. For families other than DPASwitch it is not available by default.
3. To use this core with your design use the following workaround:
   1. Close all active designs and open Component Library dialog (main menu: Tools -> Component Library).
   2. Switch to Transformers tab
   3. Locate EFD15 item  using ‘Core Type’ column (you can use filter box: type EFD15 there and it will select this core for you).
   4. Click Add button, Transformer Parameters dialog appears with full copy of  built-in EFD15 core
   5. Change Core Type value - this field should be unique. For example EFD15-custom. Click OK.
   6. New transformer added to Component Library.
   7. Click Close button – the tool will ask you to save your changes – click Yes. Component Library dialog closed.
      
      now we need to be able to use it in the design…
   8. Open existing design – UDS file.
   9. You should see EFD15-custom in your list.
      
      if you do not see it, do not worry
   10. Make sure you are using ‘All Records’ as Default Component Set. Go to Design Settings -> Defaults dialog and select ‘All Records’ from combo box. Click OK.

The other issue is that PI Expert currently not supported TopSwitch-GX.

I looking for the old version and it is very difficult to find them! But if u find and install,

the update service cannot download any updates due to 404 error Internet connection!

What can we do??? I need most latest version wich support GX,HX,JX and LinkSwith-HP devices.

You are most welcome.  Regarding the TOP-GX, we have created a special activation key for it, which you can hopefully utilize with success.  Please refer to the "TOP-GX activation key" discussion thread for more details.
