LDK454

Posted by: saleem@calpak-… on

Output is not stable 3.3V @ 400mA
When load increase 100mA the ouput goes to in cycle ON or OFF mode.

When zero Load the Output varies from 1V to 6V and not stable.

Please advise what could be the issues.

Hello,

What kind of load you put at output, Constant current load or Constant Resistor load? The application for LNK-PL is for LED driver. You should put LED load at the output.

The power supply is working at  Constant current mode, so if you put a CC load at the output, it will violate if they didn't match and the output will never be stable. Try load the power supply with LED or LED load.

Best Regards

We are not using 3.3V output for LED

We are using to power the MCU board wihcih required 300mA max.
Is this desing LNK454DG will work as a PS for MCU and LOgic, or do I have to use different desing.

On second project, we are using to drive 3.3V Ouput for LED, We have 46 LEDs in series to power the led board.

Each LED is drawing 0.5W

Please advise.

Thanks

Hello,

LNK454 is good for LED driver, but not for the MCU and logic circuit power supply. For the  PS for MCU and Logic, i suggest you use other family product, such as LNK-TN.

As for the LED driver advise, i suggest you to post one in the LED forum section. Our LED engineer will give you professional advise.

Best Regards
