LNK304 from PFC
Hi,
I would like to make a small power buck power supply from diode bridge, there is a low capacitor value (1µF).
I want to use the EMC and power diodes bridges from power power supply part.
What is the behaviour of LNK304 on this kind of input ?
It is probably a OFF laps during sinus low. I think I need to put a "big" output capacitor to store energy.
Have you already make this topology ?

Sorry for late...
Yes, I use only positive AC input with low capacitor value.
The LNK304 can starts and stops with 10ms periodicity when voltage is too low. Can I have problems ?
Thanks,
You Can use only Positive Half of AC Input cycle, however you need to have bigger input capacitor to deliver the full output power. use our PIXL's tool to design transformer enter your specifications and also make sure the configuration of bridge diode to Half bridge, it will design the optimised transformer with the input capacitance recommended value. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for posting your question into forum. We would like to understand what do you mean sinus low? Is that mean you want to use only positive AC input ?
