LNK306G problem with microcontroller

Posted by: kitopsey on

Has anyone had problems with the input capacitor? I'm having trouble because if I change the input capacitor of the circuit 10uF/400V to 10nF/400V seems that it is more stable when using the microcontroller with a voltage regulator 12V down to 3v3.

The circuit in attached.

I'm really not sure what you're asking.

Hi

well, I projected a non isolated ac/dc with lnk306G to interface with uC for dimmer ac light. But the circuit are unstable I dont know why. When I measured the input (Vin=12Vdc) regulator the voltage are OK, and Vo of regulator 3v3 are ok too, on the osciloscope the waves nothing out normal. But the AC lamp blinks, and when I tested the same circuit with external supply with same Vin=12Vdc of regulator the dimmer did not blink, I'm almost certain that problem is with LNK non-isolated power supply.

Can you send me a schematic and some waveform captures of what you're experiencing?  It's really difficult from your descrpition to get a sense of what problem you're having.

Hi, I caught the wave for zero cross detecting following the schematic. The wave had noise, and this noise makes disturbance in uC to fire triac, I think. Because the lamp is oscillating. when I change power supply by external SMPS this problem not appear.

It's not clear from your schematic or from the attached waveform what you're trying to do and what the problem is.
