Uninstalling PI Expert Suite 8.5.5.3 Hangs Windows
Not needing the PI Expert SW for a while I decided to uninstall it to free up HDD space using the built-in PI Expert Uninstall feature. During uninstall I got to the dialog message "Please wait while Windows configures PI Expert 8.5", "Time Remaining: 4 Seconds", and my system completely hung up. I had to reboot the PC to recover. I re-installed the SW, which went fine. When I attempted to again uninstall I got the same error message with my PC again hung up. Other programs have installed and uninstalled fine since that time so I know it is not my general Windows system. I have Windows XP Home on a Pentium 4 /1.8GHz with 1GB memory and 80GB HDD. Please help!
