Tranformer winding problem
Hi,
I am in need of designing the SMPS with 30V, 1.5A output. I used the PI design software. And I designed the circuit as in the software and attached the file.
My circuit is not working as expected and the output voltage is not constant. For checking the output voltage i connected the LED. The result is that for every 1 second the LED dims and then brighten.
Can u please help me. If anybody have any questions I will answer.
Can anybody tell me how to wind the transformer in 3D picture or any video tutorial. Because for flyback in website they are telling the direction is important.
Suggestion for the PI design software.
1. Include the 3D image for the transformer winding direction.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I am checking my design in breadboard. Is it OK to test in breadboard. I will upload the image after some time.
Normally breadboard can cause some problem. but if you only want to try the transformer, probably it is ok at light load.

I know you have some concerns about the polarity of the transformer. Based on your schematic, Pin 2,4,8 share same polarity (dot end, and Pin 1, 8 and 4 share the other polarity (no dot end). When the transformer is built, always start from the dot ends, and always wind the winding in the same direction, and thus the end of each winding will be the other polarity (no dot end).
I believe you can draw the 3D picture based on the descriptions as above.
