foldback characteristics
Dear team, i am using top249y for 40v,1A.my requirement is at 1.1A(110%) i want fold-back characteristics.plz help me

thanks for the reply.my application is not related to battery charger.for my application at 110% load output voltage of my ckt must fall linearly.
Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, as your output is getting overloaded, you want the the output voltage to decrease. This would create a quasi constant-power output supply. Am I understanding you correctly?

It is not quasi constant-power output supply. As per my requirement, output voltage and output current should decrease linearly when output gets overloaded. according to the attached graph.
This Design Note will probably be helpful for what you're trying to accomplish.

By fold-back chacteristics, are you saying that you would like your power supply to enter into constant current mode similarly to a battery charger?
