warning about transformer number of pins - but seems like there are enough

Posted by: BobM on

I'm getting a warning message number 570 that "Actual number of pins available is not enough to build the transformer". The design file calls for 3 primary pins and 4 secondary pins. The transformer and bobbin selected seem to have enough pins (EE19 Core and Bobbin: Generic, 4 pri + 5 sec.)

What am I missing?

I can't open the attachments. Please can you attach the PI Expert design itself?

I had tried to attach the design file but the *.uds file format wasn't allowed. How are design files normally attached?

Can you try to zip the file and send over.

The file attachment option doesn't accept zip files either. I suppose I could change the extension on the design file but I'm guessing that's frowned upon. Hard to believe the file attachment option doesn't allow design files.

I've uploaded the design file to here:

http://www.4shared.com/folder/vv9ynvvr/_online.html

(First time I've used the above site, not sure it will work!)

We adjusted the site configuration so you should be able to attach ZIP files here, Bob.
