Inductance value
I'm working on an application based on DER-285. It uses the LinkSwitch-PH LNK409 device on a 40W boost topology. For my application parameters, the calculated value of the inductor is about 1600uH. After some sucessful tests, I tested a 420uH inductor, and the result was pretty good too. I just had to adjust the feedback line. The regulation is OK, it works aswell the higher inductor. So, can the reduction of the inductance generate some problem? Thanks.

First, there was a mistake in my initial question. My application is not in boost topology, but a Buck-Boost topology.
I searched a little more and found out that the Linkswitch-PH devices must work on the Continuous Conduction Mode. Using a lower value inductance, this mode is not guaranted. Will this do some harm to the system? Measuring the output voltage and current, seems to be ok.
There is no hazard to using lower inductance value -- if you see adequate performance with reasonable margin you should be OK.

There should be on problem if you are getting satifactory performance with lower inductance
