High Voltage Solution

A few years back I used a Topswitch with an additional transistor on a 480vac motor drive. I think there was a design idea paper. I have to do another 480v design and I would like to know if I could get a copy of paper.

There is Papers, Circuit Ideas, Puzzlers submenu in the Community Menu.

One of the circuit ideas is the "A High-Voltage Input Switching Power Supply using StackFET™'.

I also need a simple supply that can exceed 400VDC input (max is 475VDC)
Now i use an not isolated design based on the lnk302 (up to 380VDC input)
Simple buck converter configuration for an 24V / 40mA output

I had a look at: "A High-Voltage Input Switching Power Supply using StackFET™"
But for my design this is to expensive/complex
Can I also use the stackfet trick on a not isolated design??

Glad with any ideas somebody wants to share.
