hello, PI-Spock, thanks for ur response. the product i want to choose is lnk363pn. and the consumption of the lcd will about be 50ma. of course, the power supply is +5v. in this condition, how would i figure out the I_LIMIT_MIN and I_LIMIT_MAX? THANKS....
There is no need to worry about ILIMIT - this is determined internally by the device.
Cheers PI-Chekov
okay, thanks for your answer.

Which product are you referring to?
I_LIMIT in general is the internal limit at which the device will turn off regardless of the duty cycle line voltage or output voltage.
The I_LIMIT_MIN and I_LIMIT_MAX are just max and min tolerances for this parameter.
Some product families (like TinySwitch and Peakswitch) are designed so that they hit I_LIMIT during every switching cycle. Other products like TOPSwitch and LinkSwitch-PH are designed so that I_LIMIT is not reached every cycle rather that it is just a safety net.
