TOPSWITCH GX to TOPSWITCH HX

We currently use the Topswitch GX (TOP249Y) in its Y package.
Is it possible to replace this with the TOP261YN and not have to modify any surrounding circuitry?
If not what can I use to get more output power and a better thermal characteristic?

You can use TOP250Y and optimize your heatsink to see whether your requirements can be satisfied. Unfortunately, our TOPSWITCH-HX is not pin to pin compatible with TOPSWITCH-GX. So you may need to change the layout if you decide to use TOP261YN/EN or TOP262EN.

Yes. Top-HX is included. PIXLs also have TOP-JX.
