Hello,

Do you have any document to help migrate a desing from TNY267 to TNY277 ?
Thanks in advance,

Unfortunately there is no document... You will have to use the datashets for the pin-out.
IN terms of electrical performance... if you use a 0.1 uF capacitor between BP pin and Source pin then this will program the current limit level to the "standard current limit" which will be identical with the TNY267 part.

Thanks,
From your answer, should I understand that I can replace the TNY267 with a TNY 277 provided the bypass capacitor is 0.1uF (which is the case for me and probably for most designs) ?

Pierre.

Yes, but unfortunately the TNY267 and TNY277 are not pin to pin compatible. You will need a new board layout.

OK, good to know that !
Actually, the datasheets look so similar, that I was about to simply replace one by another...
Hopefully, the TNY267 remains available for a while.

Thanks a lot anyway.
Pierre.
