SMPS Multiple Outputs low current

Posted by: eejcesar on

Hi,

I am working on a SMPS, I already have the custom transformer with 5 outputs (4 of 100v and max 0.05A and 1 of 12v max 0.7A) I used the PIXI designer, but I am looking for more advices, tips and which things I should care about, specially about UL certifications (medical)

thanks

The maximum leakage current requirment in medical application is very low compared to typical commercial application. This low leakage current requirement makes it hard to meet EMI limit.

thanks, but how can I manage this, I going to use the flyback topology, with a custom transformer (5 outputs, floating stack)

The size of Ycap you can use will be small, and you need to have good size of common mode choke to lower the common mode EMI noise.
