PIXper 8.0 does not contain the Foil shielding option existed in former versions

Hello,
Did someone notice to the fact that when marking the shield box option, we can not get the Foil Shield option like in the former versions.
Can this problem be fixed?

Hello,
The software when you check the shield box suggests you to have the secondary wound in the opposite rotational direction with respect to the primary.
From our experience (and PI Germany support) this is not enough. We need to have a Foil shield option.
How can we force the program to have a Foil Shield?
I agree. It is fine to default to what PI recommends, but the option is needed to force a Cu foil shield.
I am not sure I understand what you mean. When checking "Use Shields" the actual type of shielding used will vary greatly depending upon each design. Some will use foil shields while some will not. The logic is made to choose the best type of shielding for each application.
