TOPSwitch-HX and TOPSwitch-GX families
We are using power integration TOP249RN-TL.
We are now see in PI site that this component is at the Product Archive,
And at TOPSwitch Family u only offer the TOPSwitch-HX.
When that parts will no longer will be at production?
And
We would like to know what is it replacmemt according to PI recommendation.
As I see at the DS the HX don't have the R packge (TO-2637C) and the HX don't have the same output power table as the GX.
Please let me know what is the best replacmemt!

But can u please update me with the most alike using HX part
there is not any direct replacement from TOP243R to HX family. First because the R package is not available in HX family. Second, The ILIMIT of the device for TOP243R is .9Amp. No exact match for any HX device family. The first thing you need to do is to decide wich pachake you want to use for your update. Aftre you decide it, we can find the closest part to match your design. After adjusting the ILIMT with an external resistor connectec to the x pin, the new replacement part will work exacly as the GX part. So please decide wich packace is more suitable for you. Then we decide wich part will replace the original part. Also if possible, post your schematic in PDF. This will help to set the ILIMIT of the device. Thnak you PI-Worf
The GX family is in the achieve because it the way the webpage is organized. We do not have any plan to discontinue the GX family. Regarding the R package, it is not offered in HX but as I said, we do not plan to stop producing the GX family. Do you still need a an update using HX part?
