Radiated EMI Tests
Do you have some CISPR11/22 or EN55022 radiated EMI test report (graphs) for DER-230 (40W power supply using a TOP256EN), or for other Reference Design Kits using TOP GX or TOP HX?

Dear sir/madam,
i designed a SMPS as per your reference circuit (der230.pdf), i got output voltage but when i connecting load my vout getting drop.please kindly help me,what i want to do.
changes from my side
1. i changed zener diode from MAZS1300ML to C13PH
2. 6.8E to 5E
3. i was replace 680E to 10K pot ,then only i get output voltage.
4.inductors and trasformer are bought and assembled from transformer manufactures company.
kindly help me, why my output voltage getting down when connecting load.

Thank you for using DER-230 as the reference design for your SMPS.
I would like to understand your changes. Kindly clarify.
1. i changed zener diode from MAZS1300ML to C13PH - which zener diode is this from the circuit? Is this the 13V zener?
2. 6.8E to 5E - Can you point from where in the circuit is this?

- are the transformers and inductors of the same specifications as given in the DER-230?

Hello,
No we do not conduct radiated EMI testing on our example designs. Radiated EMI is a function of many things including, layout and even component choice. This means that even small changes you may make to the design to fit your application may change radiated EMI to no longer pass.
I'm sorry we couldn't be of more help. However AN-15 does discuss radiated EMI some.
