Looking to modify evaluation board RDK-295 from 5 to 6 volts

Posted by: BobM on

The board is close to what we need but I'd like to increase the voltage from 5V to 6V.  The instructions for winding the transformer are very good.  I'd like to buy some transformer cores and bobbins, wind them, change other components and see if I can come up with something stable - all using the board I bought.  So ideally the same pin spacing for the transformer.  I'm not adept at finding specific transformer bobbins.  The parts list in the instructions used pn TDK PC-40 for the core and pn TDK-BE-22-1110CP, 10 pins, vertical, (5/5), PI#: 25-00892-00 for the bobbin.  I haven't been able to find them on TDK or Digi-Key or Mouser web sites.  Maybe they've been replaced?  Or do you know of a good bobbin search where I could enter the pin spacing and general size and come up with some closed-to-the-same current bobbins (and then cores)?

Thanks PI-Yoda.  I've contacted them for some samples.
