Ultra-Wide 200-1000VDC Input DC-DC Converter
Hi,
Application: DC-DC Converter, ultra-wide input voltage range 200-1000VDC, 24VDC isolated output, 60W
Does PI have any product that supports this ultra-wide input voltage range? Currently, I am using TOP258Y in another application that has 200-400VDC input, 24VDC isolated output, 60W that is working quite well.
As an alternate, I was considering a Ĉuk Converter. Does PI make a product that would support this topology?

I would like to build a Ultra-Wide voltage 200-1000V DC-DC converter. How do I design a transformer for the power supply?

We have designs for wide range but they are for much lower power -- it may be able to have the following idea work at higher power with higher current MOSFET and bigger TOPSwitch, larger transformer etc. http://www.powerint.com/sites/default/files/PDFFiles/di124.pdf
