H301 vs. H302, InnoSwitch3-Pro

Posted by: ex on

Dear Sir or Madame,

we are currently checking INN3366C for a new offline charger design and are wondering about the versions H301 and H302 and the hint in the datasheet, that it's recommended to use H302 for new designs. Unfortunately INN3366C-H302 is not available today and we are wondering what are the differences and if it's possible to start with H301 and switch to H302 later? I read something about a discharge resistor at SR, a H-code that is responsible if the device is latching-off or in hysteresis mode and to be honest, I'm confused if it's only a improved replacement of if the behavior is different.

Thanks and Regards,

DH

Hi together,

we like to start with H301 and switch depending on the availability to H302. Will this be possible?

Hi etatronix,

The only difference is H301 has no output short circuit protection. Yes it is possible to start with H301 and switch to H302.
