connecting two LNK3206 in parallel

Is it passable to connect two LNK3206 in parallel to gain more current?

Hi oferzv,

 

Thank you for showing interest in Power Integrations and its products. 

Parallel usage of the product is not done in order to gain more current. It is advisable to use higher size equivalent of the same family, in this case LinkSwitch-TN2 that can provide you higher current limit for your specific application.

To guide you: LNK3206 has max current limit of 650 mA using the standard current limit (Cbp=0.1 uF) based on the datasheet given below (p. 12):

Choosing a higher size such as LNK3207 can give you max current limit of 1137 mA using the standard current limit (Cbp=0.1uF).
