Capacitor at BYPASS/MULTI-FUNCTION

Posted by: mbaye on
Hello, i use the tiny TNY279 in my design. I need to know if i can use at the BYPASS/MULTI-FUNCTION a (Tantal) capacitor 0.1uf/10V (for standard current limiter) or 10uf/10V (higher current limiter). I see overall a capacitor 0.1uf/50V (for standard current limiter) or 10uf/50V (higher current limiter). I don't know why 50V. best regards

Yes you can use a 10 V rated capacitor at BP/M pin. The voltage at the BP pin is only 6 V.
