High PF
Dear Sir,
Is it possible to achieve High Efficiency ≥90%,
High Power Factor ≥0.98 for 15 W LEDDriver
Using Link Switch-PH LNK417EG on 230V AC
If possible where shall I focus to achieve this?

Please guide about VOR too.
Because selecting VOR as AN49 for high line only become difficult to maintain FB around 150uA for LNK417. High VOR increase larger core size, Primary turns and inductance and allow Schottky diode for output which I can’t use due to high output voltage.
My requirement is
Non (TRIAC) dimming
High line only (230VAC)
Efficiency≥90%
Power Factor >0.96
14.6 W LED
Output 36.5v
Current 400ma
LinkSwitch-PH LNK41?EG

As shown in the attached PIXL data, Vor = 110 V might be good value to start for the transformer design.
It might be necessary to split the primary winding for high efficient design.

Is it possible to use LNK416 for the same specification?
The reduced mode of LNK417 is the same with the full mode of LNK416.
LNK417 in reduced mode can be replaced by LNK416 in full mode, but the efficiency could be lowered by 0.5% with LNK416.

Apart from this I am looking for two more drivers design.
First driver requirement is
DC to DC converter
Input 24vDC – 48vDC
Wattage 6-10watt
Output current 330ma
*I found DER-112 but need L1 Calculations
For core size, wire turns & Inductance.
*Hence we have used transistor for CC in DER-112 so if the ambient temperature raises, the value of output current IO will be change?
*5V output is max in DC-DC Forward Converter AN-31
Is it same for fly back too?

DER 284 is universal input, Eff > 90 %, and PF > 0.9 at 230 VAC input using LNK417EG,
As shown in the engineering report of DER 284, the KP value is around 0.7 at 90 VAC input,
Since PF will be higher as the driver is in more continous mode operation, it might be necessary to decrease the KP value to 0.7 at 190 VAC input to have high PF for high line only input.
