LNK3206P Buck Converter
Hallo,
I have designed Buck converter with Vin=(85-265)VAC, to get Vout=12VDC, Iout=360mA(CCM) using LNK3206P.
Kindly support us to know :
1- Are the selected components suitable for the design?
2- Is this power supply have the ability to provide 360mA without any issues??
3- 3- Will the output voltage be stable at 360 mA??
The attached fille is circuit design and bill of materials.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in the forum. The inductance might be too small to deliver the required power. Please select LNK3207 instead, or increase inductance at least 1200uH.
You may use this design as reference for your design and layout: RDR-912 - 6.6 W Non-Isolated Buck Converter for Small Appliances Using LinkSwitch-TN2 | Power Integrations

HI Gavin,
Very thanks for your reply,
I will increase the inductance to be 1200uH, but I need to confirm below point:
Will this power supply have the ability to supply 360mA, 12V DC, at Vin = 265VAC without any problems (Heating, Unstability in output voltage)??

Hi,
It should work well as long as you follow the guidelines set in this design guide: AN-70 - LinkSwitch-TN2 Design Guide | Power Integrations
Please ensure there is enough copper area for thermal management.
