Posted by: Toworitz on

Hello,
can anybody here tell me the suitable AC/DC switch in a Microwave where only LNK... is still readable?
If more information about the modell, design or else is needed let me know. Thanks for any help.

Hi Toworitz,

Good day. We are sorry to hear that the device has exploded.

It will also be hard for us to determine the part number based on the image you provided. But what I can see, the design have an optocoupler and it will be possibly a LINKSWITCH TN2 or XT2. They are the devices we have that implements a secondary side regulation.

You may see more information about these devices here:

LinkSwitch-XT2 | Power Integrations

LinkSwitch-TN2 | Power Integrations

If you are willing to design a new one, let us know. We can assist.

Regards, Gavin

Thank you. Found someone in the meantime with the same microwave who sends me a picture. It was the LNK624PG.
The defect of the component was of course not bacause of bad quality but caused by overvoltage due to a missing Neutral in the home installation. (Star point shift?)
