Innoswitch EP isolation level

You are correct. The InnoSwitch-EP family meets the Reinforced isolation according to the requirements of EN/IEC 62368-1 standard. Such approval was obtained from TUV Rheinland with certificate number R 72203545 (for EN certification) and US-TUVR-012323 (for IEC certification) for your reference and validation. However, we do not post these certificates in public for some reason. I hope that helps.

thank You for the answer, but I have another one - what about insulation level according to UL certification?
Has the InnoSwitch-EP UL certification for reinforced isolation level?

Hi Michal,

The product has been certified as single protection, non-optical isolator in UL. For your information, UL1577 standard does not have the option for reinforced insulation. A double insulation is considered the equivalent to reinforced insulation in the IEC standard world. This has nothing to do with double protection in UL1577.
