LNK623DG - SPICE MODEL

Posted by: Gui.Elec on

Hello,

Would it be possible to get a spice model (txt file or pspice) for the LNK623DG or all the LNK series ?

We are encountering issues with ECM and SCHOTTKY breaking at the output, We think it comes from the reverse voltage which is too low but we are not sure.

It would be nice to get a spice model to strengthen our design.

Or an equivalent circuit, at the moment we have make a model with perfect switch and a constant frequency of On/OFF to charge the capacitor ...

Thank you and have a nice day.

Hello,
While we do not provide a SPICE model for our controllers, we do provide a design tool - PI Expert (https://piexpertonline.power.com/). Select the appropriate device family for in-depth design support. Hope this helps. I'd be more than happy to answer other questions you may have.
Thanks.

Hello PI-KENOBI,

Thank you for your answer.
At the moment we have a lot of the SCHOTTKY diode D3 (cf attached file) breaking at the output, do you have any ideas what could be the causes of such a breaking ? We first thought it could be the reverse voltage but after tries it seems not to be ... I have attached our electronic drawing...

Hello,
Did you use PI Expert (https://piexpertonline.power.com/) to create your design? If yes, can you please share your design file with us?
Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for your quick return.
Unfortunately we have not done the design on PI Experts ... We build the design based on our own transformer, datasheet attached.

Hello,
In the absence of a PI Expert/Xls design, it will be difficult to understand your design choices and why the output schottky is failing.
