INNOswitch vs TOPswitch?

hello,
Do you believe that Innoswitch is set to push Topswitch into obselesence?
I cant see any ways in which TOPswitch is better....other than the TO220 package
which is only available in TOPswitch...so the very highest powers only would
keep TOPswitch alive?

Thanks, i cant understand why you are keeping TOPswitch. Presumably its just for those
few 100W+ cases where TOPswitch can do it but Innoswitch can't?

Yes, Innoswitch package limits the max power upto 100W.
Also, Innoswitch is on/off controlled, so presumably TOPswitch would be wanted for the smooth power flow offered by its compensated feedback loop?

We will still continue TOP switch but TOP switch JX family recommended for new designs. Innoswitch comes with latest GAN technology and integrated isolation. It has lower part count and gives higher efficiency than Top switch family of devices.
