I made SMPS with TNY267, but I have a problem.
Check circuit and ask for problem analysis.

Hi,

Thank you for considering Power Integrations for your solution.

What condition does the reset occur at? Is it during normal operation or startup? What is the load at the output?
Is the fault condition still present if the BP pin is powered externally?

Hi, Thank you for the reply.
I will answer your question.
1. Reset occurs during normal operation.

2. Output load
a. +15v load is BLDC motor and driver circuit with MCU (about 200mA)
b. +14v load is FND driver and MCU circuit. (about 200mA)
c. The circuit of "a" and "b" are connected by the optical isolator communication.

3. The BP pin is not supplied with external power.

* The problem with other products is that when the surface temperature of the tny267 is 42 degree Celsius, the output is down during operation. If the surface is cooled, the output will be generated again.

* I do not know if the circuit is a problem or TNY267 is the problem. How should I check?

Can you please supply voltage to BP pin externally and check if the problem still exists?

I have supplied the 5.8Vdc to the BP pin, but I still have problems.

Hello,

Below are a few suggestions for you to help debug:

1. Please short L4 and check if the problem still exists.
Our recommended designs tap the Vout for feedback before the filter

2. Remove resistors connected to Enable in order to disable UV function (for debugging purposes only)

Is this design being tested on a prototype or on a system?

Hello,
Thank you for the response.
I have debugged with suggestions.
1. L4 short >> problem still.
2. UV function not used >> problem still
3. PCB design attached, Please review.
Note: We have made about 400 sets so far, and similar problems occurred in about 15 sets last year.
