Problems in Top 244PN
Hi,
I have built a SMPS section where i have output of 15V, 24V, & 12 V for Feedback.
I am using the M Pin for UV / OV protection.
There are 2 problems.
1. Sometimes the SMPS does not start & Sometimes it starts, i don't know what could be the reason.
2. Sometimes though the Control pin voltage level maintained for 10 ms @ 5.7 V, it will not start, after touching the M Pin by a isolated probe, it used to start, i really get freaked about his problem.
Can you plz help me in finding the solution in this 2 problems.

The problem comes in No-Load condition.
Total Resistors connected to the M-pin is 1683K Ohm.
Input voltage is 230 VAc.

You might want to increase the M-pin resistors, I think it hits the Line Over voltage protection.

1. What is the condition of the problem? Is it full load or no load? What input voltage? You might want to check if increasing the input capacitance will help.
2. What is the value of your resistors on the M pin? It could be that there is too much current flowing on the M-pin, that if you probe it some of the current will flow on the isolated probe.
