Not Start-Stop mode IC

Posted by: TViT on

Hello. Which chip is running in continuous mode. Used LNK304 but it is very noisy when turned on or off. Need chip working in continuous mode. Which regulates the power pulse width. Do you have such chips?
To reduce the acoustic and electrical noise and interference. I need a continuous generation.

Power total power supply of about 0.2 watts - 5-7v and 40-50mA

All this is necessary for power-sensitive microphone and preamplifier max9814 from 220V.
Therefore, any noises such as electric and acoustic amplified.

Hello TViT,

For a PWM controller, you can consider the TOP253.  At 50mA, however, you may be able to design the LNK304 with such a low flux density in the inductor that there is negligible noise.

The main noise at LNK304 from the start-stop mode. How do I need to do to LNK304 worked continuously? And it is not disconnected from the feedback. I made under the standard scheme of the datasheet. Working L1=1mH

What are the main criteria in the design of which has a calculation program

Hi TViT,

If continuous, closed-loop PWM operation is a must (for example, to address the noise you observe), then it is better to use a TopSwitch product designed for such operation instead of trying to force the LNK304 to operate outside of its simple on/off control.
