LNK304 Vout
Hi,
We use the LNK304 IC for our design. In your specification, you use a Vout of 12V for your circuit example. So, we wouold like to use the IC for a Vout of 5V. I don't see any minimum voltage in the specification. Do you see some issue to use the LNK304 with a Vout of 5V ? The current is below 170mA.
Thank you
Vincent

Hi,
It seems to be possible using a transformer or a second linear regulator to downside the 12V to 5V.
We are using the RDR-138:
But is it possible to change the Feedback resistor R2 to decrease the Vout from 12V to 5V? So, without using transformer or linear regulator. We only need the 5V output.
Thank you
Vincent
it is doable. you can use the PIXL to assist the 5V design.

it is capable of 5V output.
