Innoswitch-CH current limit

Posted by: fla on

According to the INN20x3-20x5 datasheet, the current limit thresholds are defined at Tj=25°C.
I am designing a circuit based on the INN2005K, that has to work at an ambient temperature of -40...+85°C.
Is there a plot which shows the current limits vs. temperature?

Thank you.

Hi,

There does exist a plot but it is not shared publicly. The temperature coefficient is internally compensated in the Innoswitch so that the power supply can work reliably over a wide range of temperature.I would suggest using our PI-Expert tool to make the design as that takes care of reliable power delivery at wide range of temperature.

Thank you for your reply.

We used your software, but we also use our speadsheets to validate the design.
It would be very helpful to have the plot.
The converter will be used for industrial applications and we must ensure that full power is generated over the entire temperature range (-40...+85°C).

Even if the plot is not publicly available, can you send it via e-mail on request?

Thank you.

Hi,

Are you looking for primary current limit Tc data? I just want to make sure that we both are on same page.

Regarding the data sharing let me find out with our marketing team and come back to you.
