Hi everyone,
I have to realize a flyback converter circuit using the LNK4022S (LinkSwitch-4 familly), here's the datasheet :
The problem is that the transformer is not good for me.
Indeed, i have to have 12Vdc Output (Vin = 230Vac) and a current of more or less 420mA.
So i found this transformer : http://katalog.we-online.de/ctm/datasheet/7508170311.pdf
I would like to know, according to you, if the transformer is good for the "typical application" of usb charger
Can you please help me ?
Hello Bubble10,
the transformer information you provide is not complete. i cannot see the number of turns in the document you provide.
the best way for you to check is to put all the parameters you have in our PIXLS to see if there is any violation. You can adjust the parameter you can to make the design reasonable(no warning or error in the PIXLS). Below is the link for the PIXLS.

Hello
I can't find the "epc1716d" transformer anywhere. No mouser, no digikey, and no newark. Where can I find it? or, do you have a part number from wurth?
Hello m4l490n,
The Bobbin and core are a customered bobbin. All the electrical paratemer are at page22 of the RDK462 report. Below is the link:

The Transformer Core and Bobbin used in RDR-462 is EPC1716D. If you go through the report, In page 11 , we did mentioned about Transformer Materials that were used in the Design RDR-462.
