is TOP268 suitable for 24V input and 15V output ?

Posted by: jinbo on

Hello!
I want to use TOP268 in my new product. The input voltage is 24V , and I want 15V or 5V output ..Is the TOP268 best choice?
Thank you!

Hi,
A few more detail information will be helpful to determine it.
Is the input voltage 24V AC or DC? Is isolation between the input and output required?

Thanks Terry.
The more detail information as follows:
Vin = 18V DC to 30V DC
Output1= 15V,100mA
Output2 = 5V 2A
efficiency >70%
I require isolation between the input and output.
In my old product ,the control IC is UC3844. But I think the TOP268 may be a good choice.
Is the information helpful for you?

Hi,
Yes, the TOP-Switch JX should be the good candidate for this design. The total output power is about 11.5Watts, you could use the parameters (current limit, duty cycle, switching frequency ...etc.) from the data sheet to calculate if TOP268 can make the design or not. If not, you could choose to use bigger devices
