85V - 480V AC SMPS using stackfet

Posted by: viki_csk on

hi......................

I design a SMPS using TOP268KG for 85V to 300V AC and it working fine.

I want to extend its input voltage range up to 480V AC using StackFET.

I don't want to do a redesign

What are parameters need to verify before doing modification?

I already read DI-124 , DER-105, DER-58

I need some checklist before doing modification.

Please replay as early as possible

Based on your specifications, you need to verify your design for Transient Response, Output Ripple, Voltage regulation, Conducted and Radiated EMI. Make Sure your Transformer is legal design all the wa upto 480 VAC . Please let us know , if this helps.

Download our PIXL's Transformer design software, Enter your current transformer spec's and validate it for 480VAC, if spreadsheet doesn't issue any warnings , you can use it.
